I attended my first Great Western Runners parkrun tourism event! It was brilliant to see so many people wearing GWR colours (even despite the bridge closing!). As a slower runner myself it was so encouraging to have the whole team cheering me on as I crossed the finish line at the end! The communal spirit within the team was immeasurable! Everyone made the effort to come and we had a delicious breakfast at the end too! Cannot wait for the next one! Cannot thank Marco enough for organising this, I speak for everyone when I say we cannot wait for the next one!
