Last night, we ran the fifth race of our Club Championship at the Purdown Pursuit. This was the third race of the championship in the heatwave, providing yet-another strong character-building race for the 19 athletes that took part. Together, we persevered up the hills, with around 700ft of climbing in total on the 10k course. However, it was worth it for the wonderful views across Stoke Park and Bristol!

Club Championship Standings
Taking into account the first four races, the championship standings are as follows:
- 1st Place (Men): Callum Moore
- 1st Place (Women): Kelly Dicks
- 2nd Place (Men): John Cox
- 2nd Place (Women): Katy Sutcliffe
- 3rd Place (Men): Dan Jones
- 3rd Place (Women): Alice Doggrell
As a reminder, the key to this is consistency, with your top four races at the end of the Championship counting towards the final score. This means that if you have run three races, you will need to run the last race of the Championship to be in for a chance for winning. If you have run four or more races, you are already in the Championship for 2026, however, we would still strongly encourage attending the last race for a chance to improve your score!
Next Races
Our final race of the Club Championship will be the Blacknore 10K in Portishead on Sunday 27th September. Click here to enter, we hope to see you there!
