Nailsea Beer and Banger

On Friday 27th June, we had our third race of the Club Championship at the one and only Nailsea Beer and Banger. This was a very humid evening with 19 athletes from GWR in attendance. We all persevered on the hills throughout the 10k course and enjoyed a celebratory pint and hot dog on the house after.

We had some amazing results from the race, with Katy Sutcliffe coming in first place in the woman’s category, and Rita Davies coming in first place in the V70+ category (and a huge shoutout to Mark Watts for collecting the prize on her behalf!).
