For some 25+ years Great Western Runners had a newsletter called Footnotes.

This was sometimes produced monthly, at other times bi-monthly and in it latter days a little more erratically.

As a format Footnotes had reached the end of the road - pictures and results being often two months out of date.

At the AGM in 2011 I proposed that we cease production of Footnotes and redevelop the club website in an effort to consolidate club communication into a more cohesive and immediate club communication mechanism - which is what you are looking at now!

So as well as club news, Towpath information etc.etc. the plan is to develop the website to include the spirit of Footnotes so as always we are looking for articles, stories, PB's, pictures, recipes, competitions, runners profiles and anything else you can think of. The hope is that once you have got used to the new format you'll let your collective imaginations run wild and make great suggestions of how we can develop this website further.
