"Reserve An Entry" scheme:

This is a totally free service, and does not commit you in any way to entering, but does offer you the opportunity to reserve a guaranteed entry for the 2011 Series (subject to payment of the standard entry fee and entering online by a certain date) as long as you:

a) provide us with a contact e-mail address
b) enter on-line by a specific date and provide verified payment

To put your name down, just send us e-mail with Towpath 2011 in the Subject, to the following address, with your Name, Age and Club (if applicable):

 towpath"at"greatwesternrunners.org.uk (replacing the "at" with @)

Once we everything is in place (around early December) we will then e-mail you with full details and you will be able to enter before general entries are made available, and be guaranteed an entry subject to the above criteria.

Due to the off-road nature of the course, it is considered unsuitable for wheelchairs, sorry.

Due to a timing clock hardware failure, we used our backup procedure.
Positions were unaffected: other than the man who ran with a ladies number, and came First Lady, thus completely fouling up not only the results, but also the presentations.
