AXA ATHLETIC CLUB with GREAT WESTERN RUNNERS
AXA 5 Road Race
On Tuesday 31st August –
6:30pm start
This year supporting
At least £2 of the entry fee
will be donated to Help for Heroes, a charity that seeks to support those
people wounded in war.
Race starts and finishes at the AXA sports ground, Station Road, Henbury,
Bristol BS10 7TT (within 1 mile of junction 17 of the M5).
The race is primarily an inter company road race for teams of 4 or more, but
individuals are welcome to enter. Entry fee £6 for UKA affiliated athletes /
£8 unaffiliated.
Closing date for entries is Thursday 26th August 2010, although some entries
may be accepted on the day provided the entry limit has not been reached.

The course is an undulating 5.5 mile (approx) course over quiet roads, under
ARC rules: Permit Number ARC 10/189
Race packs & numbers will be sent out 1-2 weeks before the event.
Prizes/medals will be awarded in the following categories:
Male: 1st, 2nd, 3rd company team. 1st 3 finishers, 1st Vet 40, 1st Vet 50
Female: 1st, 2nd, 3rd company team. 1st 3 finishers, 1st Vet 40
